May I make the suggestion of changing the smith predictor figures (files: Smith_predictor_1.svg and Smith_predictor_2.svg) to a size slightly larger than the nominal 256x256 pixels. I suggest this because Microsofts Internet Explorer browser does not provide native support for SVG image format as of yet, and the rasterized PNG format previews are unreadable at this resolution - the diagram text being too pixelated. It would be useful to be able to be able to view these images in resonable detail, if only via the PNG preview, without the need of third party browser extensions.

Expand to include effect of modeling errors in G(z) and limits of stability? July 2009 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.64.0.252 (talk) 07:16, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Absolutely. The Smith predictor is a really interesting idea, but the modelling error and stability problems are its Achilles' heel. -- The Anome (talk) 09:20, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
