[edit]The article implies that only one concert took place, but I know there was at least a second one on October 16, 1988. U2 recorded a live performance of "Love Rescue Me" with Keith Richards and Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, and it appeared on the "Angel of Harlem" single. The last line of the article states that second one took place in 2008, but that would actually be the third concert (at least). This article definitely needs to be cleaned up with some sources added. –Dream out loud (talk) 22:19, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- I've mentioned it in the legacy section, but really the name "Smile Jamaica" is all the three concerts have in common. They were not part of a series. jnestorius(talk) 03:46, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
No mention of Marley calling Manley and Seaga to the stage is shocking
[edit]Is their some domestic edit war going on? How can that not be part of this article?96.240.128.124 (talk) 17:20, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- The Manley=Seaga event was part of the 1978 One Love Peace Concert rather than the 1976 Smile Jamaica Concert. jnestorius(talk) 03:46, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
