Copyright violation
[edit]A large part of the article was copied from this source; I've removed that part. I'm not sure whether the unsourced rest is really worth keeping or whether it should be rewritten entirely. Huon (talk) 17:35, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- I think that it was too specialized anyway. North8000 (talk) 16:35, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Challenges
[edit]"Smart transducer" is sort of a description of things which are covered under other topics and other names. Sort of like having an article titled "fast cars" and trying to cover those. "Smart sensor" , which redirects here, is a term coming into use as the "main noun" for those items in the field of machine vision. But that field has pretty severe terminology problems of its own. - Is smart sensor the only similar term you had in mind. If there are others it might help to list them and add see also links to the relevant articles. 64.40.61.70 (talk) 07:40, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Advert
[edit]WP:AFC reviewer Waggie declined Draft:Smart sensor as WP:PROMO. The original text there is enthusiastic about the subject and it was created by WP:SPA editor Mboljat. Another SPA, J.Levels toned it down a bit. I made further improvements when I merged the lead here. I think the issue has been adequately addressed though I've applied the {{advert}} tag in case any issues identified by Waggie remain. ~Kvng (talk) 13:32, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
