Wrong knot
[edit]Ashley's slippery hitch is a single turn, with the end turned back and pinched under the working part. It holds nicely under load, but unloaded you just flip the rope to throw it off. You can also pull the end out, like any other slipknot. Give the part turned back a half twist, and you can put that under the nip to make it more secure.
This one is, like the man says, "undistinguished".
