Slender (disambiguation)Slender – "(disambiguation)" is not needed when the main Slender page is just a redirect, as per WP:PRECISION. —C. Raleigh (talk) 20:42, 26 July 2012 (UTC) C. Raleigh (talk) 20:42, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. The primary meaning of "slender" is the adjective describing slenderness. The only other actual match on the page is a comparatively very minor video game, the other two listings being partial title matches, of questionable value to a disambiguation page in the first place (I doubt there are sources wherein a "slender man" is referred to merely as being "a slender" or "the slender"). bd2412 T 18:54, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I don't think that buckling is the primary topic of "slender" or "slenderness", since it is frequently used in fashion to describe a bodyform, and frequently found in the common world at large. Surely there is a fashion or physiology article to redirect both to? -- 76.65.131.160 (talk) 05:05, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see it is explicable, as a recent WP:POINTY move by nom C. Raleigh. Still I agree with his original rationale, and the video game shouldn't be primary either. I got rid of some inappropriate links to Slender, but some of them seem to be the name of an artist or band. Dicklyon (talk) 19:51, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I mainly redirected "Slender" to "Buckling" because "Slenderness" had already redirected to it, so I assumed that the "Buckling" article was the closest match to BD2412's description of Slender's primary meaning. If I am mistaken, then I apologize in advance. —C. Raleigh (talk) 23:08, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I found a better place to redirect Slenderness to as well: Gracility. Several articles link to it in that sense, and none for the tendency of slender things to buckle. Dicklyon (talk) 23:34, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
