Sandman done right?

[edit]

Is there a source on the Marvel press release calling Sleepwalker "Sandman done right?" My recollection (and I have no source either) is that the press release called Sleepwalker "Sandman done the Marvel way," which is somewhat less insulting to Sandman and Neil Gaiman.

  • I agree. The "Sandman done right" has passed into popular memory, but I've never seen an actual citation for this statement. I've also heard "Sandman done the Marvel way," and personally consider it more likely. Dynayellow 13:51, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The tag on the "Sandman done right" comment has been there for quite some time. Could someone cite it in the next day or two? If not, I plan on removing it. IMWeazel 21:38, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Earlier appearance of race

[edit]

I remember reading a story in a horror reprint book from the 1970s that ended with the revelation that the character the reader was led to assume is human looks identical to the sleepwalkers. That ought to receive a mention here, but I do not know the details. --Scottandrewhutchins 18:56, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

While I do not have access to the issues in question, as they are at my dad's apartment in another state, it may have been in Beware! #7 or Giant-Size Werewolf #2.--Scottandrewhutchins 15:45, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I had to go back home for my dad's memorial and I brought most of my Marvel horror comics back with me. It was Monsters on the Prowl #18. --Scottandrewhutchins 13:50, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is there anything explicitly linking the Wozuans with Sleepwalker and his race? 204.153.84.10 (talk) 17:21, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:E SLEE001CVR proof5.jpg

[edit]

Image:E SLEE001CVR proof5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
