New section
[edit]I am noticing the 'commercial' links have been removed several times. I would like a clarification on the policy of commercial links. From the Wikipedia Manual of Style, External Links category I found the following guidelines in section 4.1 'advertising and conflicts of interest'
"Due to the rising profile of Wikipedia and the amount of extra traffic it can bring a site, there is a great temptation to use Wikipedia to advertise or promote links. This includes both commercial and non-commercial sites. You should avoid linking to a website that you own, maintain or represent, even if the guidelines otherwise imply that it should be linked. If the link is to a relevant and informative site that should otherwise be included, please consider mentioning it on the talk page and let neutral and independent Wikipedia editors decide whether to add it. This is in line with the conflict of interests guidelines."
I agree in principal that it is preferable to use non-commerical links when possible. However there are very few resources about this subject matter on the internet, and few as rich in content as the sites which were previously included that are commercial. As to not appear to favor one commercial vendor I chose the three stores I felt had the best sleepsack pages. These sites include good photographs of actual sleepsacks and in some cases sizing diagrams and other supplemental information.
I am in no way affiliated with any of the sites listed nor am I receiving any benefit from including the sites in the article. Seeing that there is no policy specifically against commercial links, and there is no personal conflict of interest on my part I would like to reinstate the previous links. I believe all the links provided in the original article provide a potential service to the reader.

Commerical links
[edit]I removed what I consider to be commercial links from the article again. From looking at this edit they were added for promotional purposes. If you're going to add in a link that contains the word campaign, something in there is commercial. --Drmike (talk) 19:17, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
