I edited the article because sleeper buses in China are a very normal alternative to night trains. They are not connecting one remote village to the next, they are used for inter-city transportation, often enough between cities that are also connected by direct rail links. Neither are they so terribly uncomfortable. Maybe not perfectly clean and built for smaller people, but (speaking from my own limited experience) much more comfortable than sitting all the time. P.S. I personally have witnessed buses with additional makeshift bunks, but I think never more than one passenger per bunk. That does not qualify as "crowded"! Yaan (talk) 21:11, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
