Lennon/McCartney version
[edit]I've heard that John Lennon and Paul McCartney covered this song in a post-Beatles recording session that was released as a bootleg. If anyone can confirm or deny this, it would probably warrant an addition to the article. 96.36.88.177 (talk) 07:28, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Proposed merge
[edit]I propose that Sleepwalk (surf rock) be merged into Sleep Walk (song) because the latter is apparently at the correct title (two words) and is a better-developed article. I would have simply redirected the (surf rock) article, but there is some info in that article about the origins and composition of the song that should be evaluated and, if correct, referenced and added to Sleep Walk (song).--ShelfSkewed Talk 15:26, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Redirected. The other article had no sourced information; the former version is still in the page history there, if anyone else would like to find sources and add the info to this article. Kafziel Complaint Department 05:19, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Spoiler ?
[edit]What about a spoiler for the paragraph about La Bamba ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.103.135.145 (talk) 15:32, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Effect of use in La Bamba
[edit]Probably worth mentioning that some people associate Sleep Walk with Ritchie Valens due to the film. knoodelhed (talk) 04:50, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Surf Rock?
[edit]The genre "surf rock" is made in early 60s, artists like "Dick Dale." and early example of this genre is dick dale and the deltones 1961 US top 60 single "let's go trippin'". But this song is too early to say" surf music" and this song never features any "Surf" sound. This song is closer to "R&B" style more than surf rock. So i change the genre "Surf rock" to "R&B."
