False abolition of slavery

The supposed 1846 abolition cannot be considered a real abolition, as Ahmad I's succesor Muhammad II ibn-al-Husayn reintroduced slavery and Shari'a courts would continue enforcing slavery until 1890. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.43.26.236 (talk) 10:54, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
