If you check Slapp Happy on en.wiki you aren't able to find the band. There's no redirect to the band! Pequod76 - May, 22 - 2007

I take it you are referring to Slap Happy. I've added a link from that article to Slapp Happy. --Bruce1ee 11:39, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does In Praise of Learning really count as a Slapp Happy album?

[edit]

That's a Henry Cow album in which the members of Slapp Happy were involved, but that doesn't make it a SH album any more than Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band or All Things Must Pass are Beatles albums. While a few sources (such as the not exactly factually reliable Robert Christgau) do list it as a collaboration, most places (including the ever trusted AMG) catalogue it as a strictly Henry Cow album. 181.115.61.65 (talk) 23:59, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In Praise of Learning is a Henry Cow album. Slapp Happy had merged with Henry Cow at that point and didn't exist as a group any more. But in the album's liner notes, the name "Slapp Happy" is still used, for example "Beginning: The Long March" and "Morning Star" are credited to Henry Cow/Slapp Happy. —Bruce1eetalk 00:19, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
