Web link, is just a travel ad
[edit]The web url given in the info box is http://www.skytravel.co.uk/. Clicking on it, gives a screen to book a trip, but doesn't say anything about a TV channel. The only thing related to TV is "TV Offers", which is just another "opportunity" to book a trip. The link should either be fixed to the relevant page, or removed entirely. --rob 08:45, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
- it is a pointless site, but it is the offical site for the TV channel, even if it has not information about it. Go to sky.com and select sky travel from the drop down and that is where you end up. MrWeeble Talk Brit tv 13:06, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
- So shouldn't we list the more specific/relevant url then? --rob 14:01, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
The Tube link
[edit]The link to 'The Tube' leads to a disambiguation page. Linking it to 'The Tube (TV show)' would link it to a music show. Any thoughts? Trixovator 17:39, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- To be more specific, there is no page for the Sky Travel show 'The Tube' on Wikipedia. The tube is a show about the London Underground. Trixovator 22:26, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Correct link has been added to disambiguation page. I am about to add it as the link from this page. Thanks if anybody noticed this. Trixovator 22:31, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Programming
[edit]I know there will be some of you who will believe that the programming part looked good before had but, it came off as advertising the channels above anything else what with the channel numbers being placed with it. Also I can't see them Programmes being popular but if someone produces some proof I'll happily change it back. --AJFurnell 11:11, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Sky Real Lives.png
[edit]Image:Sky Real Lives.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
