Skip (in record player) → Skip (in CD player) — article almost entirely refers to CD sense and only once mentions record sense —Rapido 14:43, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

- Oppose expand the article instead. 132.205.99.122 20:03, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose and suggest Skip (audio) or Skip (audio recording) to allow the article title to encompass both. Otto4711 21:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. Added gramophone info to article and support move to Skip (audio recording) as suggested by User:Otto4711. — AjaxSmack 00:20, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- Skip (audio) makes more sense. Crazysuit 00:51, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. However skip (audio playback) would be my preferred target. Skip (audio) could mean something like the gap in the Watergate tapes. So skip (audio playback) is less ambiguous. Clearly skip (audio recording) is a poor choice since the skipping occurs on playback and not in the recording process. My second choice would be Skip (audio) if we need to go there for consensus.
