Wikification
[edit]This article is quite plain. IMHO, it needs to be wikified. --Brazucs 23:22, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
The caption on this page and the caption when you click on the picture don't seem to agree. --ECS —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.39.246.34 (talk) 17:56, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Why is the photo of Mr Yeo in this section ? - he has had pedicled flaps not skin grafts. These are fundamentally different techniques for resurfacing —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doctorwithwound (talk • contribs) 21:05, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Copyvio?
[edit]parts of the article appear to have been lifted from here. I hesitate to be bold and use the copyvio template without some discussion. Any thoughts? -- stubblyhead | T/c 21:37, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
- Since there doesn't seem to be any strong feelings on this by anyone, I'm going to go ahead and {{copyvio}} this. -- stubblyhead | T/c 17:15, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
grafting for birthmarks
[edit]is skin grafting a decent solution for birthmark?please update thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.237.138.227 (talk) 07:09, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- Depends on the size. Usually serial excision of the defect is favoured and, lately, laser resurfacing. In other words, nowadays, it's a rare occurence using grafting for such defects. ktr (talk) 10:00, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- I don't really think so 41.116.29.150 (talk) 18:04, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
History
[edit]Could someone add a history section, please? It would be interesting to know when grafts were first made, how the techniques were developed, and by whom, and of course the influence of two world wars. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 20:41, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
Source reliable?
[edit]http://emedicine.medscape.com/
Is this really reputable? Website does not seem reliable and I can't find the site to be listed in reputable lists. Or maybe my search-fu fails. 64.210.21.210 (talk) 08:27, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- yes it is fine. Jytdog (talk) 05:57, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
