[edit]I removed the proposed deletion notice.
When proposing this stub, I stopped short of also starting a stub for the host himself (Brian Dunning) out of consideration for the notability criterion (though it's a fact that he's increasingly notable in the skeptics community, being an invited presenter at the James Randi Educational Organization's influential TAM5.5 conference, for example).
But the show is one of the top five broadcast voices in skepticism, near the bottom of the Top 20 Science and Medicine podcasts on the US iTunes rankings. With the book out now, it seemed a good time to propose a stub. Loxton (talk) 00:32, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I added wikilinks to the main three similar competitors in skeptical podcasting. It's worth noting that all of those other programs have full, dedicated Wiki articles, and that Skeptoid sometimes outperforms all of them on the iTunes charts. Loxton (talk) 00:48, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
AfD and Merger
[edit]As the AfD discussion is favoring merger, almost all of this article has been cut & pasted into Dunning's BLP.--S. Rich (talk) 03:43, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
