Katouna or Katouni
[edit]A note had been inserted that this word is of Albanian origin. Nearby placenames, when not Greek, are either of Slavic or Aromanian origin. The word catun exists in both languages (and in Romanian). There is no need to derive it from Albanian. In as much as the word is used in Albanian, it is almost certainly of Aromanian or Slavic provenance.Skamnelis (talk) 14:20, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
