Not filmed in 1974
[edit]A scene in the film shows a TV Guide with a listing for the the show "Good Morning America." The show didn't come on the air until March of 1975. Also, if you were to look at the resumes of most of the castmembers in this film, their body of work begins around 1978-1979, so the idea that they could all make a film in 1974 and not work for several years is improbably. I'm removing the reference to 1974 in the article.Shabeki (talk) 22:51, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
FIlmed in 1974
[edit]There are a number of references to this film being shot in 1974. Kevin Costner born in 1955 is 19 years old in the film. The insert shot of the TV Guide with a listing for the the show "Good Morning America" could have been added after November 1975 when GMA first aired and before the film was released by Troma in 1981.
The picture of Jimmy Carter on a desk does indicate that scene was shot between January 20, 1977 – January 20, 1981.
