- MacArthur's land forces in New Guinea included Australians and the US Marines, 6th Army and 8thArmy. (My father was an infantryman in the 6th Army in the New Guinea and Luzon campaigns.) Naaman Brown (talk) 21:56, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
