Sivananda's diet is not just vegetarian. They encourage a "sattvic" diet which also excludes onions, garlic, eggs, salt, chocolate, coffee, tea, fermented foods, spicy foods and hot foods. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.182.107.3 (talk) 01:41, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article looks like a commercial ad to some kind of courses and there is zero information on the subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Viktorwills (talkcontribs) 23:46, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WP:SOFIXIT. I've added a brief and wholly non-commercial history. Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:40, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Allegations about Vishnudevananda Saraswati

[edit]

The founder of Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres, Vishnudevananda Saraswati, is the subject, posthumously, of serious allegations from women in ashrams. This matter principally concerns him, not the parent organisation, and is currently the subject of discussion about quality of sources and due coverage at Talk:Vishnudevananda Saraswati#Allegations. It would be appreciated if editors could discuss the matter over there, not here, to avoid repetition. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:51, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
