... that Norwegian footballer Sissel Grude retired aged 22, but returned for a one-off appearance 22 years later? Source: [1] "Å få dem til å skjønne at det er lov å være god. I tillegg skal jeg spille en omgang på toerlaget i hjemmekampen mot Hordabø 15." ("In addition, I will play a round on the second team in the home game against Hordabø on 15 May.")
New enough (moved from draft space on 24 April, long enough at 1729 characters, neutral and fully sourced with in-line citations. Both hook facts are sourced to online sources, short enough, and found in the article. The article is stable, with no apparent BLP issues. QPQ is done. This one is good to go. Hi Joseph2302, I was looking on the National Library of Norway for something else and I found articles suggesting Grude's Norway debut was a 9-minute sub appearance against the US in the Q/F of the 1988 FIFA Women's Invitation Tournament 8.6.88: [3]. She looks to have made a second sub appearance in the semi against Brazil two days later: [4]. If we add these to the 12 appearances listed at NFF it accords with the widely-quoted total of 14 caps nine goals. This one says her sub appearance v England 21.8.88 was her fourth cap, which ties in. I did have a (quick) look for any earlier caps in 86 or 87 but couldn't find any. What do you think? If no objections I might update the article. I'm tempted to contact NFF and see if they want to change her page on their website. Bring back Daz Sampson (talk) 00:36, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
