[edit]No copywrite infringement present in this article.
- If that's so, then you should easily be able to follow the instructions at WP:IOWN, which would be required to satisfy Wikipedia's copyright standards. Sorry to say we can't assume that there isn't a copyright infringement just because you anonymously say so. While you're working on this article, you might also want to add some reliable sources that would allow the reader to verify the assertions within it; this is also a crucial part of every Wikipedia article. - It is pretty clearly directly lifted from [1], and the recent minor edits to change a few words do not change that. Even putting that issue aside, there is nothing in the article that has established notability from reliable sources. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 15:19, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
notability from reliable sources added.(User talk:Sirenvis)
- Please re-review the reliable sources section and cite some secondary sources such as news coverage, etc. of the company. Currently there is little to no mention of Siren Visual in any of the citations listed in the article. Additionally, it appears based upon your user name that you have a conflict of interest. So I suggest re-reviewing conflict of interest guidelines as well. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 00:49, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

References easily found and restoring destroyed information
[edit]Anything that had a citation needed tag, I found a reference to the official website confirming that information. Companies often have their websites used for confirmation on this sort of information, no one possibly having any reasonable doubt of this particulate information. Also, listing the notable releases from the company, all of which have references and links to Wikipedia articles showing those releases were in fact notable, should be allowed to exist. I see no valid reason to try to remove them. Dream Focus 20:50, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Siren Visual not defunct in 2019
[edit]There's editors who have been adding that Siren Visual being defunct in 2019, citing this ASIC insolvency report. However, this insolvency report states "SIREN VISUAL ENTERTAINMENT PTY. LTD.", who although did become defunct 2019, they were succeeded by Trojan Horse Films Pty. Ltd. in 2009, and therefore the dissolution of Siren Visual Entertainment Pty. Ltd. should not be listed as Siren Visual being defunct in 2019.
Trojan Horse Films Pty. Ltd. had operated under the Siren Visual business name from 2009 to 2016, and went defunct in 2019, however, since they did not use the name Siren Visual since 2016, their dissolution in 2019 should also not be listed as Siren Visual being defunct in 2019. (ABR lookup showing Siren Visual business name from 2009 to 2016 for Trojan Horse Films Pty. Ltd.)
The company who currently holds the Siren Visual business name is Glass Doll Films Pty. Ltd., and has been using Siren Visual as a business name since 2016, succeeding Trojan Horse Films Pty. Ltd., and Glass Doll Films has NOT become insolvent, and is still legally registered as a business. Their former website even has "Glass Doll Films Pty Ltd. Trading as Siren Visual". This is the only company who should be considered in whether Siren Visual is defunct or not. (ABR lookup showing Siren Visual as business name for Glass Doll Films Pty. Ltd. from 2016 to the present, ASIC info for Glass Doll Films showing it is still registered). Alex Tenshi (talk) 16:45, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
