Sir Edward Smythe, 1st Baronet
[edit]Is the Sir Edward Smythe, 1st Baronet mentioned in this article Sir Edward Smith, 1st Baronet ? The dates (and politics) seem to match, but I can't find a source to confirm or refute. - TB (talk) 07:42, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
Richard Corbet
[edit]I see what the source says, but I'm pretty certain Corbet, Lee's maternal grandfather, was not a justice. He is almost certainly being confused with his father Reginald Corbet, the prominent lawyer who founded this branch of the Shropshire Corbets. A number of older sources say something like: "daughter of Richard Corbet, son of Reginald, justice of the king's bench." Understandably, this is later read to make Richard the justice, when it is actually Reginald. Sjwells53 (talk) 08:00, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
