Educational project

[edit]

We are a group of students from Suny New Paltz. We will be significantly editing this page in hopes for improvement over the next few weeks for a class project. If there are any questions, our professor is User:Redcknight Newpaltzbritishlit (talk) 23:39, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Word of warning. Please note that group accounts are not allowed on Wikipedia. Drmies (talk · contribs) has already used your talk page for some advice, further note that you will need individual accounts. Good luck, and I hope it's a positive experience for you all. -- Hello! I am User:Duessa and we have seen the comments about the group account. Thanks so much, we hadn't realized and will be creating individual accounts to post with! Thanks again Duessa (talk) 00:32, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

--And Hello, I am User:chrfahnestock, also concluding that we have seen the aforementioned comments regarding the original group account. Those of us who will be editing the Wiki page have made our own accounts and will no longer be sharing one. I apologize for creating a group account, as I was not aware that they were not allowed. Thank you for understanding, and pointing us in the right direction, we appreciate it! We look forward to working on this project and hope we won't make any further mistakes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chrfahnestock (talkcontribs) 00:52, 22 November 2014‎ (UTC)[reply]

And there you go, your very next mistake! You forgot to sign your comment, by adding ~~~~ at the end. All good. See WP:SIG for the basic rules and tricks, and see WP:UNSIGNED for how I fixed it. (Signing your comment means you don't have to introduce yourself each time, so it's a very good habit.) Meanwhile, and more importantly, thank you all for the improvements already made.
