A fact from Sir Charles Knowles, 1st Baronet appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 February 2009, and was viewed approximately 382 times (disclaimer) (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
|
Lovel Hill
[edit]Problematic referencing here. The claim was referenced from [1], a self-published site by David Nash Ford. That page claims to be based on the DNB, as at s:Knowles, Charles (d.1777), but Lovel Hill isn't mentioned there. I can see various sources that indicate Lovel Hill was probably in the Knowles family at the period, but something more accurate really is needed to state that Charles Knowles lived there.
