The prior version was too hagiographic and "PR-like" in tone. The purpose of wikipedia is to present "just the facts" and not be a publicity page for any organisation. The toning down is nowhere near done yet.
In addition, I am unable to trace the exact year of the conclusion of Lewis' tenure, although the orchestra's own history suggests 1977 as the beginning. It would be nice if someone could fill in the conclusion information. Thanks, DJRafe (talk) 01:50, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
