Very interesting topic
[edit]It is a topic I heard about a few months ago for mere curiosity, I'm happy to see a wiki page on it.
PS: I changed the cite template for the thesis on POLITesti from a website type to something showing the author. The retrieval date for the URL is not meaningful for registered contents that have a public handle identifier. I suggesto you also make a wikidata item for the thesis, I made one for mine and it is a nice to have. LuKePicci (talk) 12:49, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the change! I just went with the automatically generated citation; but this version is much better.
- I will also do the Wikidata item, thanks! Shivaprsd (talk) 14:01, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
Review
[edit]Its a well written article and very easy to understand. Only suggestion is to add the references in the picture captions too, so that access to literature article can be easy.
Thanks Muhammadrehan645 (talk) 13:03, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, will do, thanks! Shivaprsd (talk) 14:10, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
Excellent work!
[edit]The subject is really interesting and the explanation is clear! I just edited some parts for clarity and fixed the punctuation, feel free to undo if I misrepresented the meaning of the sentences. I also made the images bigger, please consider expanding the captions... especially the one about compressed sensing. I have created the wiki item for you! Please fill in the missing information, thank you! HeyGio (talk) 13:30, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for all the corrections, they were all spot on! Better than Grammarly!!
- But I am not sure about the image sizes, @Marco said not to put fixed sizes...
- Anyway I will do expand the captions and the Wikidata item, thanks! Shivaprsd (talk) 14:10, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- You are right! Didn't know about the adaptive image size... HeyGio (talk) 14:26, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
Observations and suggestions for improvements
[edit]The following observations and suggestions for improvements were collected, following an expert review of the article within the Science, Technology, Society and Wikipedia course at the Politecnico di Milano, in July 2024.
Maybe a drawback section about dynamic range of the method can be added, but overall a very good wikipedia page
