What's with all the "http://www.kurzweilai.net/" links? Can we link to SERIOUS scientific journals websites and not pseudo-scientific sites? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.69.173.135 (talk) 07:31, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
Revamping Boron nitride and molybdenum sulfide subsections and adding a new "borocarbonitride" section
[edit]Hi. Would it be ok for me to revamp the boron nitride and molybdenum sulfide subsections? While there are articles about hexagonal boron nitride and molybdenum sulfide as a whole, those articles and the sections in this article do not have much information concerning the 2D structure and properties.
In addition, I'd like to add a section on borocarbonitride, which is considered to be a new 2D material of its own, as it is not quite graphene and not quite boron nitride.
Thank you. Xekutorp (talk) 01:01, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
- Feel free, be bold, none of Wikipedia's pages about 2D materials, graphene, van der waals heterotructures, etc, are particularly complete or well written, all need lots of improvents. --Yikkayaya (talk) 16:06, 14 February 2017 (UTC)

Two-dimensional materials → Two-dimensional material – WP:SINGULAR standard for article names Prisencolin (talk) 22:07, 28 January 2020 (UTC) —Relisting. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:53, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
- Comment I was thinking, can it be considered an exception of WP:SINGULAR as per WP:PLURAL "Articles that actually distinguish among multiple distinct instances of related items can be sensibly given a plural title when the alternative would be to create an inappropriately large number of short articles, one on each instance"? - Oppose move, agree with comment: the article title can be plural because the article lists several distinct things. CyreJ (talk) 16:08, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose move. I also agree with comment. Blue.painting (talk) 23:28, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
