The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).
There is a long section in the article about the port and the silk road which references in writing a 2014 article, but no actual citation. This information is lengthy and feels outdated.
There is also a "Port of Sines" Wikipedia article, which was previously not linked in this page and to which I linked to in a minor edit. This level of detail would seem to me that it's better fitted for that article and instead this article. I'd suggest having adding a short summary under a "Port of Sines" section and then link to the "Port of Sines" article for more information.
