Happy to offer some thoughts. J Milburn (talk) 12:09, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
- "of The Main Attraction's "Everyday" (1967)." Wikilinks?
- No Wikipedia articles of the band or the song as of now – they appear to be fairly obscure. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- ""Since I Left You" also managed to place in the singles charts of Australia and several European countries" Managed?
- Rewritten. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- If any of the unlinked songs are notable, redlink them- redlinks aren't a bad thing.
- Linked "Let's Do the Latin Hustle", which was a UK chart hit under a different artist. The rest don't appear to be notable. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Is it the Avalanches or The Avalanches?
- Made consistent. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- "attempt to defray spreading" I don't think that's what "defray" means
- Rewritten. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know about Australian spelling, but you use both "favorably" (American) and "colour" (British).
- Made consistent. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- You list some locations, but not all, in the references. I'm also not so keen on "(liner notes) (Release notes)". Precise reference formatting isn't essential for GA status, but it's still nice!
- "(liner notes) (Release notes)" appears to be the way the cite music release notes template is formatted. I've never been too keen on it myself, but for now I don't think I can really do anything about it. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- The formatting that I followed in referencing this article was to add locations for printed sources, based on comments I've been given in the past for other articles and previously listed good articles (ex. Channel Orange, "Harlem Shake"). The problem with non-printed sources is that location information is usually only limited to country of origin – I used cities for location, and I'd prefer to keep it in a consistent manner. Hope that makes sense. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Did it chart in Spain? It's mentioned by a Spanish magazine as a great song...
- Didn't chart there, according to the official Spanish chart archives. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Page numbers/authors for the offline Q references?
- No specific authors listed, numbers added. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
Funny how it was so well received yet didn't chart so well. Not a bad article- I wonder if there are a few more sources out there, but this does seem to cover the important bases, and so, for GAC purposes, I'm happy that it's comprehensive. J Milburn (talk) 12:23, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
- Addressed your comments to the best of my capability. Thanks for taking the time to review the article. Holiday56 (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Great work- only two more comments (and, as an aside, I just listened to the song- I actually rather enjoyed it!). Firstly, the Spanish magazine source could do with authors (if one's listed) and a page number. Secondly, the video here has been uploaded by the record label, so would be a suitable external link. It could be added at the bottom of the article, in the infobox or using {{external media}}. In any case, happy to promote- a very solid article, well researched, written and sourced.
