[edit]Is there a location in the article where the actual text of the amendment can be placed, or perhaps a distinct wiki article reserved solely for the amendment? If that were done, then this article could be focused on the Simply Equal organization and the article about the amendment can discuss the controversy surrounding it and the timeline. I would vote in favor of this article remaining. Simply Equal was a very well known political organization in Kansas that achieved a major policy change in their city. It is historically relevant. The article itself needs to be tightened up and cleaned up a bit, but it is certainly worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, even in its current state. Msilverman (talk) 19:22, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
The Simply Equal movement is perhaps one of the most important with respect to gay and lesbian history in Kansas. It deserves to be documented in Wiki. DebTaylor (talk) 19:39, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
