"Furman-isms"

[edit]

As it stands this is WP:OR and I can't see how one would find WP:RS unless it is in some extra in a graphic novel. There is a lot of fan speculation on it (as the intro acknowledges: "Long-time readers of Furman's work have noticed several recurring dialogue and action clichés, referred to as 'Furman-isms.'") [1] [2]. I'm not sure if this would count [3] although it does use reference the original sources. Still tricky and would need a trim. Any suggestions? (Emperor 02:26, 28 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Almost two years later, and this section still has precisely no sources, and consists entirely of original research. Unless sources are added soon, it should be deleted. Terraxos (talk) 21:06, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed - none of those sources can be deemed reliable (discussion forums, open wikis, etc.) and still seems a magnet for unsourced opinion. (Emperor (talk) 02:18, 14 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]
I have removed the section. Terraxos (talk) 22:46, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers. (Emperor (talk) 02:23, 18 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

"Writing from"

[edit]

Needs updated 'Writing from 1984', and perhaps linked in with the Wikipedia page on Scream.

Problem with Simon's Job Role

[edit]

I think there is confusion of the particular Simon Furman in this article. I can't find any evidence through the internet or via colleagues in the comic book industry that Simon Furman (the comic book writer) is also CEO of "Take Pride in America". There is no citation for this statement so I feel that this is a mistaken identity or possible vandalism.

If this is correct a citation should be added.
