Article
[edit]This article should be deleted.
Simon Davies is only "notable" for his appointment as managing partner of Linklaters, information which is already included in and sufficiently covered by the Linklaters page. Managing Partners, even of large firms, typically do not have standalone pages. Exceptions apply (Marty Lipton, David Boies), but they are typically individuals who have had notable careers or contributions in politics, business or academia, and significantly shaped the legal industry. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#People_notable_for_only_one_event
Simon fails to satisfy any of the additional criteria. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Additional_criteria
In the end there are a few articles noting his appointment as managing partner in mostly industry related journals. That level of notability is so open ended that if applied uniformly, it would make Wikipedia exactly what it professes not to be, an indiscriminate collection of information. If Simon Davies satisfied the notability requirement, then so would Alison Stokke and Angie Varona, and they don't.
It would be impossible to make this anything beyond a stub article, more evidence of Davies not being notable.
