I notice that the North Carolina mine, discovered in 1838, is described as the first silver mine in the US. But it says the Pennsylvania mine was worked from before the Revolution, which would make It the first in the US.
The New Hampshire mine is also older than the one in Carolina FlaStorm32 (talk) 14:16, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
