Silkwood castle
[edit]I remember this fantastical structure, reminiscent of an M. C. Escher drawing. What was its history? Does it still exist? Doug butler (talk) 09:19, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Doug butler: There's plenty of sources for it (just google "silkwood castle") and was written about as recently as November 2022 so it presumably still exists, see [1] (it's a subscription site but you can get one or two free reads each day). But I can't find a "suitably-licenced photo". I have found the castle on Google maps, see this aerial view. Unfortunately there is no StreetView from the street of the house itself, but, because of its height, you can see the top of it in Streetview from an adjacent street, see adjacent street view. - I have a photo taken by me 10 or 15 years ago. I think it's OK quality for the article, if you can add whatever info. Doug butler (talk) 05:46, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
