More than Dic
Silent treatment is also a form of abuse (see numerious Google hits for "silent treatment" that discuss spousal abuse). Perhaps this artical could be expanded to talk about that a bit. Removing prod and stubbing in hopes that someone more knowledgeable than I will expand upon it as I am not paticularly qualified to do so. --Shortfuse 01:26, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Changed the redirection link
The Shunning article is more group-focused while the Social rejection article is more about individuals, so I changed it to redirect to the latter. The silent treatment CAN be a group thing, however...
Also, the term "Silent treatment" didn't appear in either article, so I added the phrase Social rejection's opening. It may be a topic that deserves its own article, however. There has to be a book on this somewhere... Kennard2 03:29, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
