Hello KjjjKjjj, thanks for your work on this article. Unfortunately, it does not meet the Good Article Criteria at this time. However, with some additional work and content, it certainly has the potential to. I have submitted articles to GAN which were not ready for it, and failing the process can be more than a little confusing and frustrating. I wanted to give you some benchmarks to aim for if you want to re-nominate. I recently reviewed Nauru at the 2020 Summer Olympics and Solomon Islands at the 2020 Summer Olympics, both of which passed after minor revisions. Here are some definite requirements:
- All statements have a verifiable citation behind them; no sentences lack a reference, even if their information is pretty basic or straightforward
- Discussion of the travel, training, delegation, and ceremonies aspects of the paralympics
- A copyedit of the prose of the article to make sure grammar is correct, and that everything is said efficiently and effectively
- The disability classification section is much more suited to a higher-level article; it mirrors much of the content already present elsewhere. A briefer summary, perhaps that ties into some profiles of the athletes, would fit in much better.
- Images would improve the article a ton! The best would be of the athletes, but if those don't exist then perhaps of the venues where they competed
- A more detailed account of the athletes competing is definitely necessary, like each of their reps in the event
- Was there any news coverage of Sierra Leone here? Especially more local stuff would help. Right now, there aren't really any sources that support Notability, which is bit for an article.
If you would like any help in the future, just reach out to me! I would be happy to review it again, or give advice about the process as you work through it. Best regards, Fritzmann (message me) 01:19, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
