Introduction date

This phone was introduced in 2000. As you can read in forums of the time, the first examples were delivered in December 2000. The year 2000 is also mentioned in the Cellkraze.com article in footnote 1. (The article link is dead, but you can find the article in Archive.org/Wayback Machine.
