Date of birth

[edit]

I added his date of birth from the New York Times obituary. Capitalistroadster 08:28, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I wasn't sure what it was and figured I'd grab it from today's local paper. They moved up to Brushton because, as Landau said, "We had to find a place for our books and when we saw this house, I said 'This is it!'. They had over 50,000 books... They're all ash over town now =(. Their house was built by Henry Brush, whom the town is named after. Sirg3 16:55, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NY Coll of Music

[edit]

I found

In 1943, Landau became a faculty member of the New York College of Music (later The New School's Mannes College).

and left instead

In 1943, Landau became a faculty member of the New York College of Music (after 1968 absorbed into New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development).

bcz NYCM appears of have become part of NYU:

But is it perhaps the case that he (also?) taught at Mannes?
