I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:10, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • No DABs, external links OK
  • Image appropriately licensed.
  • Can you provide a map showing the location of Lyme Regis?
  • I am extremely dubious about the assertion that Lyme Regis was the main port for the trade with France. More so than London or Portsmouth? I'm wondering if your source is biased. I'd also question the statement that it controlled the route between Bristol and the English Channel as it was only one of several ports controlling access. Plymouth was Parliament-held in 1644, although it was already under siege by a Royalist army.
  • I've softened both of these claims. As you say, the first seems a little incredulous, and I've not found anything to back it up (nor have I found anything to refute it, mind!) However, as you say the source clearly has an interest. Harrias talk 10:47, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Shouldn't member of parliament be capitalized?
  • Watch out for word echo; you're using Parliamentarian rather close together.
  • Is any information available on the initial size of the garrison?
  • Link barge
@Sturmvogel 66: Thanks for the review: I've responded to each of your points, let me know your thoughts: I might well take this onto ACR (although I'd like to get hold of some more sources local to Lyme) so feel free to be picky! Harrias talk 10:47, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Can't really think of anything else that I haven't really mentioned.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:56, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
