"removal of incorrect and wrongly sourced propaganda"
[edit]I have removed information relating to 'revolt' and 'al-karma'
there was in fact no revolt in fallujah and karma is still under IS control
all sources stating to the contrary are propaganda and do not constitute a RELIABLE SOURCE — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.112.144.10 (talk) 09:47, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hello 82.112.144.10, There seems to be enough reliable references for the content that have been removed. Hence, removal of those content is not warranted. The edit can be seen in the following link: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Siege_of_Fallujah_%282016%29&type=revision&diff=721998917&oldid=721998361. The references constitute news post and hence can be considered as reliable. You stand that there was no revolt is backed by no references or notable statement of any kind. Please post any considerable references to validate your stand. Sanket Edits Wiki (talk) 10:17, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

No, farsnews and PressTV are run by the iranian government, and anything they say is propaganda. It cannot be considered a reliable source
see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fars_News_Agency The Fars News Agency (FNA) is a news agency in Iran. While it describes itself as "Iran's leading independent news agency",[1] it is widely described by news media to be a "semi-official" news agency of the Government of Iran.
"semi-official" news agency of the Government of Iran.!!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Press_TV Press TV (stylised PRESSTV) is a 24-hour English language news and documentary network, affiliated with Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).[1] IRIB is state-owned
critics consider it a shill for the Iranian regime.
wikipedia editors should know far better, it is a disgrace that people like you can run this page according the the wishes of the iranian government, and when someone does an entirely uncontroversial thing of deleting your propaganda, you run here to defend it!!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.112.144.10 (talk) 12:01, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Please do note that FNA and Press TV are not the only references in the article. Washington post, the financial express and nbc news are some of the other references that the article consists. In addition, if a news source is semi-official, that doesnt necessarily devalidate it from being a reliable source. It would be great if references can be furnished which indicate or question the validity of the content instead of questioning the validity of the already existing references. Please let us know if an issue still exists..Happy Editing...!! Sanket Edits Wiki (talk) 14:56, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
and as far as im aware, i didnt delete that washpo source or others, only the farsnews/pressTV lies when farsnews/pressTV report false news, and have a long history of doing that as part of a government run propaganda campaign, it certainly does disqualify them as sources its not my job to 'disprove' or 'refute' these lies, it is the job of the news organisations to prove them if you can prove that the lies of 'burning civilians alive for trying to leave' by pressTV/farsnews are true and actually happened, you can keep them but they are not true and this never actually happened the content of the sources farsnews/pressTV are factually incorrect — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.112.144.10 (talk) 14:41, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
The article serves as Pentagon's propaganda
[edit]The article ignores atrocities by US led forces who were responsible for killing and kidnapping hundreds of people. Videos of sunni civilians getting executed are still available in the internet.
