[edit]@IJBall: Annie LeBlanc is credited as Jules LeBlanc, Isiah is spelt Isaiah, and the 5th episode is Friendiversary. SportsFan007 (talk) 15:09, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
- Note: About this – while credited as "Jules LeBlanc", she was known as "Annie LeBlanc" before the show debuted, and coverage of the show before it premiered referred to her as "Annie LeBlanc", which is why that is the name that is used in the 'Production' section, while "Jules LeBlanc" is used throughout the rest of the article. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:32, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- That and the fact that the source used has Annie as well. It's even in the URL. Amaury • 17:50, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Confirmed Episode
[edit]Zap2It has confirmed a new episode S1: E20 “Bot Club” (121) so make sure to add that episode to the table please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.138.114.29 (talk) 20:39, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
Prod. code for Bot Club
[edit]Natalie Van Doren has confirmed the production code for Bot Club is 121 and she will direct the episode. She confirmed this on her Instagram and posted the script as well. Please edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.138.114.29 (talk) 14:46, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- No – we wait for The Futon Critic (AKA, the source for the production code column) to update with the information – director/writer credits can be added/verified when each episode actually airs, as normal. Magitroopa (talk) 15:16, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- WP:NOHURRY definitely applies in this case. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:29, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Confirmed Episode
[edit]Someone needs to patrol Zap2It and Futon daily because it’s been 2 days and no one has added the new episode that Zap2It has confirmed. Someone please add the new episode confirmed by Zap2It. It’s called “Extra Crunchy” — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1004:B088:487D:C858:79C9:2CC6:5C3 (talk) 00:40, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

- Yes, and at this point, Showbuzz Daily is defunct. If you want the latest about what has been discussed regarding this issue, I would suggest you check out Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television#U.S. TV ratings sources. Magitroopa (talk) 17:48, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

Can anyone fix the wiki???
[edit]can anyone fix this wiki please and thank you. Hellollamame (talk) 20:19, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- Your edits have been reverted and has been fixed. You edits won't be able to be added until an official source comes out. I tried Just Jared, but looks like Wikipedia won't allow. If we can't find a source a year has to pass before we add that it is over. Isaiah Crews did confirm it on instagram, but can't be used since he isn't confirmed, but don't think that will even fly here.Magical Golden Whip (talk) 21:07, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Magical Golden Whip okay thanks 😊 Hellollamame (talk) 22:47, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

No Season 3 for Side Hustle; Series Cancelled
[edit]It seems Side Hustle has been cancelled. Isaiah Crews took to Instagram to announce the official and bad news. Isaiah says, and I quote, “Hey guys, I’m here to break the bad news. Sadly, Side Hustle will not be returning for a season three, I’m just really saddened by this news and I just wanted to tell y’all, ‘Thank you.’ Thank you to those who watched it, thank you to everyone on the crew who worked on it. Script supervisors, the PAs, the light guys, the sound guys, camera guys. Working on that show, for me, was a dream come true, I’m always so happy when I look back and think of all the great times I had on that show, with my TV father Tedward, Daryl Brown, Presley’s TV father, Kurt [Ela], Mitchell, Jayden, Jules, Jacques, Leah [Mei Gold]… Yeah, Horrigan, Reyn [Doi], everyone. Just, I love you all and it’s just, thank you guys so much, for making the show a reality in the first place.” Sad day for Side Hustle fans. Also, Mitchell Burg took to Instagram to say, “ hey everyone, i’m sad to share the unfortunate news that @nicksidehustle will not be continuing. i’m really grateful to all of you fans who supported the show and motivated me to bring my best every day. i’m also thankful to the entire cast and crew, producers, everyone at @bullockandsnowcasting, and @nickelodeon who trusted me with the character fisher. it was an incredible experience, and i can’t wait to cross paths again. thank you all." So, No Season 3 for Side Hustle. Thanks to Side Hustle for making me happy during the hard days and everyone in the show for making me laugh. Thank you. But Nickelodeon has not yet announced, so there might be hope. But anyways, thank you Side Hustle. BenKirby56 (talk) 02:21, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- It needs to come from Nick or a showrunner. Cast taking to social media is not usable for Wikipedia purposes. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 02:24, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- Just like I explained that Nickelodeon didn’t confirm it yet. The same situation with Drama Club and Barbarian and the Troll, which haven’t been active in over a year, possibility Nickelodeon quietly cancelled the two shows. So Nickelodeon could be quiet when they cancel shows. BenKirby56 (talk) 02:28, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- Even though Nick has not announced show cancellation for shows before, we still need to wait a year to pass without a source then.Magical Golden Whip (talk) 02:36, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- A another series, Warped!, has not been announced for season 2 yet. Cwater1 (talk) 23:16, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

Source for cancellation
[edit]I don't know if this would be reliable, but John D. Beck, one of the show's executive producers, recently went to Twitter and confirmed that the show was cancelled. Again, I am not sure if we should use his tweets to use in the article, or wait until a full year has passed. His account is verified, but I'll leave the decision up to the admin. BrickMaster02 (talk) 16:24, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- If he's a showrunner, this is usable if his account is verified. But if he's just an EP, and not a showrunner, I'm not sure... Other people's thoughts? --IJBall (contribs • talk) 16:58, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Production section sources the fact that Beck is a showrunner for series. A Twitter message on his verified account is a usable as a reference for info about the series. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:51, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- This appears to be the tweet in question. It doesn't actually state "the show is cancelled", though that is clearly the implication of the tweet. There are other tweets in the thread, but none of them actually state "the show is cancelled" either. Still, this is a verified Twitter from a showrunner – I think something about this can be added to the article now. It's also likely that this tweet may move someone like Deadline to actually report on the cancellation. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 17:59, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- He didn't state it directly but he did confirm it in his tweet. Other sources reporting cast statements with this as confirmation should be sufficient to consider the show over. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:29, 23 July 2022 (UTC)

- The twitter source may work, but doesn't it need to come for Nick themselves as the show runner doesn't speak for the show. I also put in a request for extended protection due to ip's still adding it in without valid sources. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 01:47, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- We generally consider that the showrunner does speak for the show on the production side of things - it is basically their production. The network is their customer. Who doesn't speak for the show is cast members. If the show runner says the show is over we can believe them. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:57, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, he and Ron Hart are the showrunners and can certainly speak for the show. There is no doubt that the show is canceled as he and the other cast members who have posted about it would have no reason to lie. It's just a matter of which source to use and the tweet should be sufficient for now. — Starforce13 03:18, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- So, are we clear to add the source or should we wait a little bit more for others to chime in? BrickMaster02 (talk) 01:42, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
- No one objects – it can be added right now (though a secondary source verifying it would be better). --IJBall (contribs • talk) 02:16, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
- I don't know if there is a secondary source to verify. The only ones that come to mind are the Just Jared Jr. article and posts from the cast, and those aren't reliable to use in the article. But thanks for accepting the request. BrickMaster02 (talk) 03:10, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

Cancellation
[edit]Is there any to prove that the series was cancelled with a reliable source. This is a source but not reliable. NickALive!: 'Side Hustle' Canceled at Nickelodeon Cwater1 (talk) 20:21, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- There is none at this time. A year will have to be waited out. See above discussion. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 20:07, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- The tweet from showrunner John D. Beck was considered reliable, since his account is verified, though I want to get the go-ahead from a couple more administrators before doing so. BrickMaster02 (talk) 20:58, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- You cant just quote what the showrunner said. Putting a definite cancelled is hard, because networks can change their minds and uncancel, or it can switch networks. You only know if it is cancelled if it really stops for a while. ---Lilach5 (לילך5) discuss 21:02, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- Look at Starforce13's reply in the discussion above. BrickMaster02 (talk) 21:07, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- Yes and even if the network changes their mind or it gets shopped elsewhere, it doesn't change the fact that it got cancelled at some point. We would just add the information there. For example, if you look at ODAAT, you'll see a Cancellation and revival section that describes initial cancellation, reaction and revival.— Starforce13 16:13, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
- Is this source reliable? [www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2022/08/17/development-update-wednesday-august-17-297314/14086/] Can't get it linked. Cwater1 (talk) 20:43, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- Both TFC and TVL are reliable, but TVL, which is what TFC is quoting, is using "I hear" statements. We can't use those. It's speculation. Amaury • 20:48, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

Start of production
[edit]Okay, I really should've done this before making the edit, but production for the first season did not start in March. Obviously Covid had an impact, but production was supposed to start in the middle of March. The following is a link for the show from On Camera Audiences, a site where people can purchase tickets for show tapings. [1] It lists that March 20th would've been the start of production, but that did not happen. I don't know if this would be considered reliable, but if it isn't, maybe we could use the source from All That which mentioned production was halted.
