Sick (2022 film) → Sick (film) – Currently unnecessary disambiguation – as Sick#Film and television clearly shows, this film is the only film with the title of just "Sick". The other two films have unique titles that just start with word "sick", but which are unlikely to be confused with this film. And this can easily be dealt with at the 2022–2023 film article with a hatnote to Sick (e.g. using an {{Other uses}} hatnote). --IJBall (contribs • talk) 17:44, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- Move: Agree. It is the only film with the title as only Sick. Mike Allen 18:10, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- @MikeAllen: Sick (1997 film) and Sick (2012 film). In ictu oculi (talk) 16:55, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose subtitles are commonly omitted and thus its partial disambiguation. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:02, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- That claim is not borne out by the references at the other two film articles, which all seem to refer to those films by their full titles. And it is also solved by a hatnote. The bottom line is just the 2022–2023 film is titled just "Sick". --IJBall (contribs • talk) 19:29, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support, the two other films already have subtitles as WP:NATDAB: Sick: The Life and Death of Bob Flanagan, Supermasochist and Sick: Survive the Night, they're not called simply Sick, unlike this film. —El Millo (talk) 20:30, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- The fact other titles are naturally disambiguated or at their best title doesn't mean they don't have a claim for the qualified title, see WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. With Sick: The Life and Death of Bob Flanagan, Supermasochist the text "Sick" is in large text while the rest is in small text, similar with Sick: Survive the Night and such film are likely known without their subtitle at least sometimes. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:18, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per El Millo and Crouch, Swale – that would be hijacking of a partial dab. No such user (talk) 12:18, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- El Millo supports the move. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:57, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose. Three films with that title. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:15, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per posters of Sick (1997 film) and Sick (2012 film) In ictu oculi (talk) 16:58, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- The posters use their full titles. The poster for Sick (2022) uses its full title, Sick. Mike Allen 17:05, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom. This is the only film on wikipedia with name "Sick" plus not sure what relevance the posters of the other films in question have on this discussion. Yeoutie (talk) 03:31, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- The counterclaim is that the other films can be considered "Sick" in some contexts, and they're trying to say the posters show this. But they way you should actually prove this is secondary source coverage, and as I pointed out uppage, the sources used at the other two film articles all refer to the two films by their full titles. So, in fact, there's no actual proof that either of the other two films is known as just "Sick". --IJBall (contribs • talk) 07:01, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support. This is the only article for a film that is purely titled "Sick". Sources on the other two films consistently use the subtitle when introducing those films, and only use "Sick" alone later in their text; this suggests that the subtitles are a full-fledged part of those films' titles, rather than being used purely for disambiguation. the subtitles are a full-fledged part of those films' titles
– see contradictio in terminis. No such user (talk) 14:19, 23 January 2023 (UTC)- But the fact many readers will likely know of them as just "Sick" is also important as well even if sources normally use the full name. Per WP:PRECISE its unlikely the title would be unambiguous. The fact the proposed title was a redirect to the 1997 one from its creation in 2009 until this year is also a good indication that the 1997 one is called this. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:15, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Comment. Those commenting that the other films have subtitles are missing the point. Whether they have subtitles or not, this film would still be incompletely disambiguated without the year. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:31, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- No, it wouldn't, because the other two films are not known as just "Sick" – they have clear WP:COMMONNAMEs that are not just "Sick". Which is the whole point... And, again, this is easy to deal with with a hatnote as well. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 03:13, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- That's like saying that if there are two people commonly known as John Bloggs and John Wotsit Bloggs then we shouldn't disambiguate the former because the latter is not known simply as John Bloggs. But that just isn't how disambiguation works, as has been argued (successfully) many times at RM. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:04, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

Sick (2022 film) → Sick (film) – No other film article by this title per WP:NCFILMDAB. Other film articles by this title (Sick: The Life and Death of Bob Flanagan, Supermasochist and Sick: Survive the Night) use their respective subtitles as WP:NATURALDISAMBIG. JohnCWiesenthal (talk) 14:11, 4 October 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). JohnCWiesenthal (talk) 14:23, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per previous discussion. Sick (film) is ambiguous, and including the date of release is helpful to readers. 162 etc. (talk) 15:58, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. The fact that the disambiguation of the other articles is achieved by including their subtitles does not mean those other films aren't known by the title Sick. It is their primary title, featured in huge letters on their poster art, on which the subtitles are very difficult to notice and to read. A quick look at one of the other articles shows that two of its four cited sources have only the main title in their headlines, and one of them says "Still, 'Sick' is hard to take." (only the main title). In different sources for the other one there are the sentences "In Sick we actually had two different kinds of blood on set." and "Not to say that SICK isn't entertaining, ..." and the article has the quote "In the end, Sick is a mixed bag of creative potential and questionable plot lines." (again, only the main title). — BarrelProof (talk) 16:55, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Strong oppose as noted subtitled are commonly omitted, Sick: The Life and Death of Bob Flanagan, Supermasochist has 1,177 views and Sick: Survive the Night has 104 compared with only 16[1]] for the 2022 film. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:02, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. Nothing has changed since the last RM. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:48, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
