Hey Hahc, I'll be glad to take this one. Thanks in advance for your work on it. I hope to have comments up tonight or tomorrow. Cheers, Khazar2 (talk) 20:13, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Some initial comments:

  • "4:02" -- running time should have citation as (arguably) a statistic
    • It is taken from the album. Can I use the liner notes as ref?
  • "Arjona issued a letter raising the issue of his past relationships with recording companies" -- I don't quite understand this phrasing... who was the letter to?
    • It was a letter Arjona published to the public, not issued to anyone, really.
  • I rewrote "notes" as "stated" per WP:WTW
  • I've made use of the Oxford comma consistent.
  • "Although the song is not performed on the tour," -- is there a source for this?
  • Are there no sources discussing the song's creation/composition besides liner notes from the album?
    • Sadly, no.
  • Are there no sources discussing the song's reception?
    • Sadly, no.

This article looks good in many respects, but I'm concerned about the lack of information about the song; there don't seem to be any sources specifically about it beyond the credits in the liner notes (except arguably the two sources that say only "a video for this song is now online"). Unfortunately, I don't feel like this article can be said to cover the "main aspects" of the topic without some expansion beyond the liner credits. Probably the best solution here is to simply merge the little available content to the article about the album; there just doesn't seem to be anything written about this one yet to justify a standalone article.

What are your thoughts? Normally this is the point that I'd close the review, since it seems to me that significant expansion is still needed, but as a longstanding GA contributor, you probably have a different take on this than I do. If you think I'm on the wrong path here, I'm happy to get a second opinion. Again, I do really appreciate your work here, even if I'm not sure this is the best way to present this info yet. Cheers, and thanks for all you do, Khazar2 (talk) 20:51, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I know. I keep this article as a standalone mostly because the main article is perrty full of content and I want to keep it synthesized. It is pretty long as-is and cutting some content about songs to separate articles is better sometimes, I think. With regards to compisition and writing, there isn't much about it. Since it was some sort of "promo" single that was randomly released with a music video, it didn't receive much coverage like previous singles "El Amor" and "Fuiste Tu," for example. It was even ignored from the 2013 Latin Grammy Awards in favour of "Mi Novia Se Me Está Poniendo Vieja," another buzz single that had a bit more coverage and even charted in the U.S., unlike "Si Tu No Existieras," which only charted in Mexico.
Overall, I feel that having a standalone article is better than merging the content for organizational purposes, mostly. Whether it's complete enough to be a GA, I leave it to your judgement, and if yoy feel that it's not yet structurakky up to that level, I am okay with it, although I feel it is mostly because there is nothing else to add. As I said, however, I trust your judgement and if you believe it cannot be promoted, I am happy with it :] — ΛΧΣ21 03:25, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense. I do think it'll need some secondary sources reviewing/discussing the song before it can reach GA though; thanks for understanding. So I'm not listing this one for now, but hopefully it'll get more reviews soon! You've done some good work here and I'd be glad to see it as a GA in the future. -- Khazar2 (talk) 10:54, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
