Confluence with Indus: Skardu or Khaplu
[edit]Now which one meets the Indus in Skardu: Shyok River or Shigar River?? If you look on a satellite image there is only one confluence of another river with Indus near Skardu and article Shigar River and Skardu both state Shigar. It is rather Khaplu than Skardu where the Shyok meets the Indus... --katpatuka (talk) 06:46, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- The shyok is meeting the Indus somewhat upstream of Skardu at Keris. Khaplu is not located at the indus valley at all but further inwards in the shyok valley--Kmhkmh (talk) 23:42, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
