Park Slope Homeless Shelters
[edit]Entries about Kapoor's opposition to two shelters in Park Slope have now been deleted twice. The most recent version that was deleted is included below. Is there some reason that the anonymous editor who has deleted this section believes that these are "incorrect facts"? The references are reliable sources.
- In May, 2019, Kapoor started a public petition on Charge.org to oppose two shelters for women and children in her neighborhood of Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York City. In her opposition to the shelters she states that "locating two large buildings for the homeless on two adjacent blocks is not fair to our community", and that they would have "a negative impact on the property value” despite an admitted lack of evidence on the effect of homeless shelters on property values.[1][2]

- Hi, I reverted another deletion of this, with no reason given. I have cleaned up the NYT reference but also reduced the sentences around this event as they confused me. Perpahs a re-write to explain this better. thanks. Britishfinance (talk) 19:24, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

Promotion
[edit]I'll also add that too much of this page looks like self-promotion or a CV/Resume. Are all her public speaking events really that significant? Do we really need a listing of every panel that she sat on? WP:BLPBALANCE WP:TRIVIA Ian m (talk) 21:22, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
