[edit]There is also a Shrine of St. Anthony (Pittsburgh). Should this page be moved to Shrine of St. Anthony (Maryland) and a dab page started here? --Dudemanfellabra (talk) 01:36, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- At this point I don't think so. From what I can tell from the official page of the church, the official name of the place in Pittsburgh is "St. Anthony's Chapel" not Shrine of St. Anthony. It may be a shrine to St. Anthony but that isn't its name. The official name of the Maryland church is "Shrine of St. Anthony" Marauder40 (talk) 14:51, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- The official name in the List of Pittsburgh Landmarks is "Shrine of St. Anthony of Padua". I only set up the redirect to St. Anthony's Chapel because the shrine is inside the chapel and there is not yet an article specifically about the shrine yet. --Dudemanfellabra (talk) 18:42, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- The problem is that if you set up an article for the Shrine and the Chapel you will probably get one of the pages deleted for numerous reasons. Unless you can make a case for having seperate articles for the Shrine and the Chapel page, it should just be part of the Chapel page, since the Shrine is part of the Chapel. They even refer to the location os St. Anthony's Chapel on the official website for the place. In the Maryland Shrine case the official name of the building is now the Shrine of St. Anthony. - Yea I see what you mean.. but there are still two shrines (possibly more that we don't know about?). Maybe just putting a "For the shrine in Pittsburgh, see St. Anthony's Chapel" and a similar message on the chapel's article would suffice? If someone typed in "Shrine of St. Anthony" that lived in Pittsburgh and they were taken to Maryland, they'd be like wtf, but if that message showed up at the top, they'd find what they were looking for. Sound good to you? --Dudemanfellabra (talk) 19:02, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
