Fair use rationale for Image:Shrek OST.jpg

[edit]

Image:Shrek OST.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Proposed merge with Shrek

[edit]

A merge into the parent article was proposed with this edit.

As per WP:Merging the page seems to be a duplicate of as "There are two or more pages on exactly the same subject, with the same scope." The only difference is that this page is a bit longer but as the other soundtracks are all on that page it would make sense to merge and redirect this one there too.

The other page is a little silly. We would not create a page "Every song every performed by Led Zeppelin" or "List of songs performed by women for movies starring Fred Astaire." There is no reason for the other page to exist. Each soundtrack is an album and convention here is that each album has its own page.

Song List Vandalized

[edit]

I noticed that the list was vandalized to say that Testify by Rage Against the Machine was in the film, and was written by Tim Commerford, Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Zack de la Rocha. Not a single song by RATM was used in the film. Would somebody be nice enough to revert it? --41.107.10.246 (talk) 23:00, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. Thanks!--Carniolus (talk) 18:57, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
