Dave Connolly/Allmusic

[edit]

I think undue weight is given to Dave Connolly's view. Who is Dave Connolly for a start? I don't remember reading his reviews in the 70's when this album came out. I see Allmusic has been around since 1991 - how can this be a plausible barometer of critical reception for an album that came out 14 years earlier? This article is extremely basic, and there are lots of ways it could be improved. I started the article and added the review that was available to me at the time. I never imagined Allmusic to be a "plausible barometer of critical reception", but its reviews are easily available and in the absence of any others, it gives an indication of criticism of the album. As I'm sure you know, Wikipedia is a collaborative project; articles only develop if ordinary people like you or me decide to develop them. If you have access to notable reviews from the 1970s, then please add them. The article would be all the better for it.--BelovedFreak 19:08, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for replying and your point is fair. When I get some time I'll see if I can add something to the piece. Twizzlemas (talk) 10:56, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That would be great. As it stands, it is only the bare bones of an article, giving the reader the basic info about the album. I would love to see it improved. --BelovedFreak 12:03, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
