Ambiguous article title
[edit]The current title "Shosse Entuziastov (Moscow Metro)" is ambiguous, because there is Shosse Entuziastov (Moscow Central Circle). There is years-old consensus to use the line name for disambiguation in such cases.
It was disambiguated by line name, (line article: Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line) and therefore located at Shosse Entuziastov (Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line).
User:Jenks24 restored the ambiguous article title, requests on his talk page to restore the disambiguated version that is compliant with all other pages of Moscow Metro stations that contain disambiguation by line (except one other he undisambiguated cf Aviamotornaya (Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line)) are not fulfilled. 78.55.248.119 (talk) 05:19, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
- For the tenth time, start a requested move discussion. Do you not understand how to do this or are you being deliberately obtuse? Jenks24 (talk) 05:22, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
- We needn’t change the title. The IP has maintained a no-discussion/all-demands approach and has become a solution in search of a problem.
- For one, the station in question has one part that is on the Moscow Metro and one station on the Moscow Central Circle. The Moscow Central Circle is not part of the Moscow Metro. It is owned by Moscow railway and operates with transfer privileges to the Metro. So one station being tagged as part of the Metro and one being tagged on the Circle is completely appropriate. While this editor has the potential to make positive changes, the approach inhibits any collaboration. Worse, the style of asking different editors to do his dirty work for him has resulted in the mass confusion across the system. If this move isn’t part of a larger style and naming discussion, a series of one-off moves from this editor could create additional confusion. Therefore no renaming or page moves should be considered from this or any of the dozens of IPs that are related to it. TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 14:53, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
