Surely the name 'Bill of Rights' didn't come out of nowhere, and the Act had been known as this informally before it was given the name by the Short Titles Act? Morwen - Talk 10:56, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Counterexample

The act respecting the exercise of the fundamental rights and prerogatives of the Québec people and the Québec State, from Canada, is a counterexample---even though its not national/federal law, it seems that passing a bill without a short title is not a disallowed action. 118.90.65.233 (talk) 12:31, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
